This reception desk is intended for organizations that want to make an impression on everyone entering their lobby. It is ten feet (3 m) side to side, four feet (1.2 m) front to back, and forty-eight inches (122 cm) tall. The one shown in the photos is made from solid cherry wood. Although they can be made out of a variety of different types of lumber.

The desk is designed to be staffed by someone who needs to organize and distribute paper messages, packages, and mail while processing electronic messages, phone calls, and printer files. There is plenty of room and access to electrical, phone, and data outlets.
